Hybrid install of Office

I am considering different upgrade models. I would like to find out the Pros
& Cons of upgrade Vista & Outlook 2007 but leave the rest of the Office in
2003. Does this cause incompatibility between Office, Outlook & SharePoint.
Please share any infomration in this topic. Thx
