Hyperlink Compatability Issue

The excel sheet I'm using were developed in Excel 2002.
When I open the same file in an Excel 97 program the
hyperlink has the final "/" reversed thus the program can
not find the file..

IE..

Shows as below in 2002
\\mynetwork\documents\excel\worksheet.xls

Shows as below in 97..
\\mynetwork\documents\excel/worksheet.xls

Any help would be appreciated..
