Hyperlink does not go where it's supposed to

In a multi-file presentation, when I set up a hyperlink from a slide in one
file to a specific slide in another file, the link always jumps to the last
slide in the other file.

Thanks for responding. I found the problem. The link was OK. The problem was
the file I was linking to. I had used slide show setup to test animation on a
specific slide. I never set the slide show back to "All." When I clicked the
link, the destination file automatically ran only the slide I had set up. I
changed it back to "All" and everything worked fine. Whew!
