Hyperlink Error in Mail

While trying to open any link contained within any of my E Mail documents - I receive a path error statement for any URL that ends with a .asp command line function. For example - http://www.Staples.com/ will open normally in a browser however http://www.staples.com/help/Default.asp?area=driver_release will bring up an error message telling me that "area=driver_release" is an incorrect path and could not be found. However if I already have IExplorer open, then the .asp urls will process as normal. This has just recently started to happen within the last 24 hours, FYI I have scanned for virii, as well as repaired outlook using the internal functions as well as upgraded to SP 3 in an attempt to solve this problem. Thanks in advance

John
