hyperlink of e-mail address is no performing

every e-mail address typed in is automatically preceded by " mail to:"

although the link is highlighted and undelined like a hyperlink i get a
message saying a html.file doesn't exist on this web

no broken links are showing

Yes but is the mailto wrapped in a <a href...>?
Insert hyperlink and select the email option on the left
