hyperlink problem

I'm having trouble with creating hyperlinks. When I add a hyperlink to an
exe file it will not work. Its like the exe file isn't on the website. I can
zip it and its fine, but exe it doesn't work. What is wrong?

Your host may not allow exe files or they need to set permissions to make
sure that the exe file is downloaded, instead of being executed on the
server, have you checked them about this.

This behavior definitely sounds like URLScan is installed. By default, I
believe it will block all requests for .exe files.

As Thomas said, check with your host. If it is URLScan, they will need to
make modifications to the server to allow this.

thanks Jack! I will read this in the morning, but what you said so far
scares me. lol I might just zip everything that's an exe file.
