Hyperlink question

I am creating a pdf to send as a newsletter. The title of the
newsletter is also the title of our website. Not my actual site, but
for example www.fishandchips.com. We have made each seperate word a
different color, "fish" is blue, "and" is black, and "chips" is red.
Whenever I try to hyperlink www.fishandchips.com the colors are changed
to one color. How can I keep the colors as I intend? Also, when I
create the pdf will I still be able to allow my reader to click on the
website/title?

Create your hyperlink first, then change the formatting of your
hyperlink to your desired colors. If you can create a PDF document
which contains clickable hyperlinks now, they your newsletter will
continue to maintain the links. (For instance if you are using
PDFMaker) I don't have that loaded, so I am not sure whether PDFMaker
will change the colors of your hyperlink to the standard, blue,
underline or not.

Thanks for replying Dawn. I just downloaded pdfFactory but I haven't
used it enough to see if I can do what you suggest. I'll give it a go
tonight.

Thanks again, I wish I had found this group years ago. Very good
information found here.

The easiest way to accomplish this is to insert an image file into your
newsletter which contains the logo. In other words, do you have a "logo
file" of "FishandChips", for example, that is used on your letterhead,
business cards, etc.? Insert that file into the Word document, then create a
hyperlink to your website by making the image file itself a hyperlink. You
can generally do this by right-clicking on the image file, and there should
be a "Hyperlink" option. If you don't see it, let me know what kind of image
file it is (bmp, jpeg, tif, etc.) and maybe I can answer your question more
specifically.

Hope this answered your question!
