hyperlink to a PowerPoint presentation

I created a PowerPoint XP slide show that is supposed to
be interactive using hyperlinks and action buttons.I
placed a hyperlink in a Word XP document. When I click on
the link in the document, the slide show will run, but it
is not interactive and not full screen. Any suggestions?

Change the file extension on the PowerPoint file to *.pps which is a
"PowerPoint Show" and my hunch is that it will launch correctly.

I'm trying to use a hyperlink in a Word document to a full screen PowerPoint show. It's not working. When I click on the hyperlink I get a screen viewer and a floating web toolbox.

Not sure I know what a "screen viewer" and "floating web toolbox" are.

Is the link to a *.pps file as explained in the posting you replied to?
