hyperlink ???

Hello,

When reading the help pages for various MS programs I often find a word or
phrase printed in a different colour (usually blue) which, when clicked,
reveals an additional paragraph defining what is meant by that word.

Is this facility available in a Word document? If so, what is it called (is
this a hyperlink) ? Where do I look in the help pages to find how to use it?

Thanks

KK

If you hit CTRL + K, you can open a dialogue box that allows you to enter a
web site address (www.yahoo.com) and the wording you want to launch that
link (Yahoo!)

You can link to a web site or to another document very easily. I think once
you hit CTRL + K, you will see everything you need to get started.

In using Word, if you hit CTRL when you mouse click on the link, you will go
to that site. Otherwise, you will just see the url leading to the site.
