Hyperlinks in Text Not Working

I created a flyer, which contains a web address and an email. Both were
entered into the template using the "Business Information Set", which was
previously filled in.

I am now attempting to send the same publication as part of an email. I
would like to have the web address and email be hyperlinks. However, they do
not appear to retain the hyperlinks that I create. Oddly, I hyperlinked a
photo without any problem.

Has this something to do with the text being part of the Business
Information Set, or is there something else I may be doing incorrectly (this
is pretty simple stuff--I can't image what is going wrong).

Thanks.

Perhaps it is how you inserted the hyperlinks. Select the text, right click,
hyperlink, choose either email address or Existing File or Web Page. Done
this way, and sent through OE, the links survive for me.

The procedure you outline is exactly what I've done. The hyperlinks are not
retained. Have you used these steps to link text brought into the the
publication using the Business Information set? As I mentioned, I can link
graphics on the page---but not the Business Information.

I went back and look at the business information set, and see it is wizard
driven...I don't use wizards. I suspect that because the text is imported
into the publication, it will default to the non-hyperlinked text when you
email it. I didn't try to save an inserted hyplerlink to the business set,
but that might work. But I also noticed that you have the option of changing
the imported business information set to plain text. What happens if you do
that, and then insert your hyperlink?

As I said, I don't use wizards, and partly because I don't have the control
I want. Once I got my "business information" and logo on a page, I just copy
and paste from page to page, and document to document. Perhaps not as easy
as using a wizard, but at least I have control. In this case you may have to
give up on the wizard.
