hyperlinks open save as exe window not webpage

The hyperlinks sent to me in an email are not working
correctly. When clicking on the links the Save As dialog
box appears with the file type of executable files
selected. All links are supposed to go to webpages.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

My apologies. Rather than opening the Save As dialog box,
it opens the Locate Link Browser dialog box, instead of
the webpage.

Lloyd - I am having the exact same problem!!!!! it
started about a few weeks ago and thought it was just me.
I think it started after one of the updates.
