Hyperlinks won't work when powerpoint copied to a CD

Can't get the hyperlinks to work after I copy my PPT file to a CD and run the
CD on another computer.

What are you linking to? Is the user viewing the presentation in PowerPoint or
the PowerPoint Viewer? If the links are to files, have you sent the files on
the CD? What happens when the link is clicked? Is there a message? Do you see
a "hand" icon? Please explain what "doesn't work" means.
