Office 2003 Word document question.
I use to use Corel and I could add hyphen and other marks to words in letters
I write in Portuguese. Portuguese people find it much easier to read with
correct pronouncing applied to each word in every letter I write.

If the symbols you need are in the font you are using then:

Insert Symbols and choose the letter with the need mark.
When using Insert Symbols, if there is a keyboard shortcut {at bottom}
you can use that or your can create your own.
When using Insert Symbols, you can add the symbol to Auto-correct and
use Auto-correct to insert the symbol.

In the above, "symbol" is the letter with hyphen or whatever you need to add
already defined. If you do not have the needed symbol, suggest you post
back for more help.

In Word, go to Help and look for "Keyboard shortcuts for international
characters". There be be shortcuts for the characters you want to use.
For example, "n" with tilde can be entered with CTRL+SHIFT+~ (TILDE),
followed by N.
