I can no longer convert my files to pdf

I have Publisher 2003 and yesterday, my pdf menu on the top left disappeared
and I can no longer convert my Publisher files to pdf. I've even
uninstalled/reinstalled the Adobe Acrobat 7 and have also updated to 7.8 but
still no luck.

The next step was to uninstall and reinstall Publisher and still no luck.
Any one know what may be the problem? Thanks.

I'm trying to convert my files in Publisher, on the top left there used to be
an icon menu to convert to pdf but it's no longer there.

So I open my Adobe Acrobat and try to convert from there by clicking on
"create pdf" - it starts the application, but then I get a message "Missing
PDFMaker files - do you want to run the installer in repair mode?" If I say
yes it will act like it is repairing and then I restart only to find out it
is still not working.

I thought at first that it might be the library in Publisher, but during the
uninstall/reinstall, still no luck. Thanks for your replies...

Try File - Print and change your printer driver to Adobe Distiller.

Open help, click about Microsoft Office Publisher, click the disabled button. Is
Acrobat listed?
When you right-click Publisher's toolbar, is the PDF program checked or there?

I did that - it works that way also, but I prefer to leave my printer that's
on the network as the default. However, I think Mary may have solved my
problem. It was just disabled, that's all.

Thank you both so much, for your help. I appreciate it very much.
