I cannot forward emails

I recently upgraded from Me (uggh) to XP and now I cannot forward emails, I
received the following error message from Word when I attempt to do so: "an
external support function returned an error"

If anyone could provide me with a way to resolve this issue I would really
appreciate it! Thank you in advance for your help. Chris

I'd try a repair/reinstall of Office. Ensure the latest patch is then
applied.
