I cannot open the powerpoint program

Yes,

I was working on a presentation and when I decided to save
it, it would not save. Then a message came up saying that
there was an error and powerpoint had to shut down. Next
another message came up asking if I wanted to report the
error. I was in a hurry and opted for not reporting the
error. But now I want to continue with the presentation
and the icon will not open up the program.

What can I do?

Can you open Windows Explorer and locate POWERPNT.EXE in your C:\Program
Files folder and click on it to open PowerPoint?
