I cant get internet explorer to download a thing please help.

I am running windows office xp and I have trid everything to get IE to
download but it wont. It starts looking fo rthe files and then I get a
message that IE cant locate the files or they dont exist. I have turned off
every security feature and still get the same results. I hope someone can
help. Thanks

1) There is no such thing as "Windows Office XP" Office is *NOT* part of
Windows.
2) And IE is *NOT* part of Office.
