I Cant Open My Personal Folders

First i have a problem with a message that says.

Errors have been detected in the file
c:\Outlook\mails.pst. Quit all mail-enabled application,
and then use the Inbox Repair Tool.

Ok i run the Inbox Repair Tool, but it doesnt work when
goes in the 5 process of 8, appears a message that says
that the scan was stopped, and dont make any change, and
the files continuos with out working.
Or Exist other tool?
