I can't open Powerpoint files, it says it can't be read. I have Powerpoint
2003 and I just got it today. I tried to update it with the service packs and
nothing changed after restart. It wont open any files, from saved files to
even background themes that it came with. I tried repairing it with the
autorepair option, but nothing. Im out of ideas. I have never had Powerpoint
before so there hopefully shouldnt be any conflicting files.

Go to Help > About Microsoft PowerPoint. What does it say the version is? Does
it end with SP1?

I think your file is corrupted. We can recover it or you can do it by
