I can't see my graphics in view - but I can see them in the prese.

I created a series of slides with graphics. When I opened the presentation -
I can't see the graphics, just the text. When I look at the view section and
the slide show - the graphics show up. This has not happened before -- even
on a computer with LESS RAM. I have 512 RAM on this one -- what's the
problem?
