I can't view pics and txt boxes in word/excel but they'll print

In both excel and word, pictres,logos,text boxes do not display on screen but
print O.K.I have tried various views,display pics in "tools-options" but with
no success.
I'm running windows xp,office xp. Any ideas?

Sounds like a display adapter issue. Suggest checking the manufacturers
web site for a current/correct one.
