I have a print speed problem using Publisher2000 and a Brother MF.

Hiya

I have a problem printing Publisher 2000 documents on my Brother MFC-3820-CN
all-in-one machine...it prints out snail pace on all settings whereas all
other programmes print fast. Help please.....

Situation normal. Publisher like other DTP programs is slow printing due to
the page layout.

My HP printers have printed at a fair speed, it seems to be specific to the
Brother machine....it takes around 5 mins to print a simple document whereas
it does it in say 40 secs on my HP printers.

This would be a Brother problem, check their web site for an upgraded driver.
Publisher 2000 produces big files.

Peter if your HP is an inkjet that will be correct.
You are talking about two totally different breeds of drivers and printer
interpretation from inkjet to laser.
