Depending on the software installed on your system, you may be able to use
OCR software to edit the text. I personally don't know of any software that
will allow you to scan in a document and have a file that is easily
"tweakable". Most require a bit of editing afterward.
I am giving Chris the benefit of the doubt and assuming (yes, I know that's
dangerous) that she/he thinks that the resultant file can be edited in
Publisher.
