I have some AAC protected files that I want to add to my presenta.

I want to make a slide show using one AAC file I downloaded using itunes. I
can't convert it since it is protected. Any idea of how I can make that one
file a .WAV file? It's just a song for some baby photos.

The owner in this case is Apple iTunes. There might be some mechanism there
for ripping an unprotected MP3, but the poster will have to seek support
from iTunes, I believe.

In iTunes you can burn the tunes to CD and then rip them to MP3's and use them
in PowerPoint.

It's protected because the owner wants to control how it's used.
You'd really need to contact them to get permission to use it.

Seems goofy, as it's just for your own personal use, but that's the way the
pendulum's swung in this decade of the digital age. Sigh.
