I have windows xp but want better fonts.Where can I get some free

There isn't much choice of unusual and funky fonts. Can anyone let me know
how I can add some new ones to my existing ones for free?

You have to choose: do you want better fonts or do you want free fonts? As
with most things, you get what you pay for. Good fonts are commercial
products. Do a Google for a squillion sites offering either or both..
