I have Windows XP Home Edition. How can I get Word and PowerPoin.

[Help! I need Word and Powerpoint!]

I bought an EMachines computer (my first mistake) with Windows XP already
installed. I don't have a Windows XP CD, just an EMachines Restore CD, so I
can't download from the Microsoft website. The XP is the home edition, which
doesn't have Word or PowerPoint. Is there some way to get these programs
without having to spend hundreds of dollars?

No version of Windows comes with Word or PowerPoint.

If you just need Word, the least costly purchase is likely Microsoft Works
Suite.
