I need a blank slide when starting powerpoint all i get is used 1

When I open pp I get a series of slides none of which are blank. I need a
blank one .It worked fine before. How do I set up the defalt settings I had ?

Sounds like you have accidently saved a default design template.

easiest fix is delete excess slides . Format > slide design

Find the template called "default design" and apply it

Now save as > save as type = design template *.pot (scroll down)
Call the file blank and save in the folder powerpoint suggests

See if that helps
