I NEED HELP ASAP!!!!

I am working for a job that wants me to create a database
with a many different categories. One of the categories
is Lawn Technician. This column includes several
different names. I need to create a function that counts
how many times each name appears. I was thinking a COUNTA
function or an IF function nested with a Count function.
I am very new to this so any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you for your time.
