I need help

What do I do to create a form to be filled out with lines? I made one and
when I went to fill it out the words over took the lines and caused them to
overlap and make it look messy. How do I create the form so I can type the
words on top of the lines and not in the lines?

A table is your best bet.
or
Put the lines on the Master Page. (ctrl + m). Opening the baseline guides could
be helpful. (view menu)

Word has this function with forms, you might want to think about doing forms
with Word.

I still don't understand how this will help. Your saying I should make a
master page and put the lines on that? What is a master page? I really
don't use publisher too much so I don't understand much about it. What menu
are you talking about? I have another form that the previous worker did here
and I can fill it in just fine but I can't figure out how to put the words on
top of the lines...any more suggestions?

If your forms are going to be filled out by others, I would reconsider using
Publisher. Unless you are SURE that everyone who will be accessing the forms
has Publisher, make them with Word.
