I am in the construction field and we use hand written transmittal forms for
send out samples and shop drawings for approval to architects and enginners.
I then have to write another one to the vendor submitting the samples once
they are returned. the project number, name and address are the same on every
transmittal. I would like to enter the project number and be able to have the
project name and address "auto fill" so I save time input the same
information. I also have to enter to who's attention it's going to. I would
like to enter the the person's name or even a protion of the name and have
the document recall the information and auto fill the address, phone number ,
etc.. I have tried using excel and the look up command but sometimes
information does not filter properly. What program and/or funcution is best
suited for this task?
