I want a sender to know I am blocking their emails. How?

I am using outlook; I want to block the receipt of one specific person's
email, but I want them to get a message saying that their email has been
blocked, or something to that effect. Is this possible?

You could send an autoreply using rule that deletes their messages but you'd
do better to just tell the person to stop sending you email that you will be
configuring a rule to delete all mail from them. Or just delete it and not
bother telling the person.

There are any number of spam blocking products but you could just as easily configure an auto-reply like Diane said to make them think their messages are being blocked. I'm guessing this is from someone you know so unless they are tech literate it should be pretty easy to trick them into thinking their messageses are being blocked so they will stop writing you.

You could always try spam arrest free for 30 days. I am pretty sure that will do it.

Not really. Anybody who is reasonably tech savvy can figure out that a phony
Delivery Failure Notice is phony.
