I want to close or delete microsoft word and intended e-mail.

I scanned a document and sent it through MSN mail instead of outlook and now
microsoft word won't close until I send the document.The document has already
been recieved and I can't shut down my computer as I can't close
Microsoft Word. I guess system restore may be in order?

Have you tried turning your computer off and then on again? Or disconnect
from the 'Net?
