I want to create a scale diagram, what's the best tool to do this?

I would like to rough out some diagrams for a replan of our office and I'm
wondering what the best tool within Office would be for this. I don't have
Visio.

None of the programs in MS Office are suitable for the task of producing
scale drawings.. the best you probably do is to use the 'draw' facility in
Word..

Do a Google for SmartDraw...*great* program for this kinda thing...I think
they have a free trial version. One of the easiest floorplan programs I've
ever used, and can do Visio like diagrams as well. I ended up buying it a
few years back.
