I want to drop shadow a text box

Could someone tell me if I can add a drop shadow to a text BOX. Not the
text, the box. I am using Publisher 2002.

Do it in two steps. Create a box with a shadow and lay a text box over it.

In Publisher 2002 make sure the Formatting toolbar is active, select the
text box then click on the shadow style icon (it looks like a green box with
a shadow). You then get 20 options for shadow direction.

If you then re-size the box the shadow stays with it, unlike creating a box
behind it.
