Use Googl to find and read some HTML documentation as there are
several settings that allow the color of a link to be changed after it has
been clicked.
By default however there is no way to highlight by changing the
color of the background and maintain that highlight once the mouse
has been moved off the linked text.
Using CSS can allow the color of the link text and the color of
the background to change onMouseOver or when the link text
is selected but maintaining that change is not feasible as it would
require scripting to reload the page and store the state of the
link text somehow.
