I wish to highlight certain dates within a calendar month

The whole text box highlights and I dont know how to undo that to highlight
just certain dates.

Calendar templates are tables, when you highlight with the arrow, you are
high-lighting a cell. You can select just the date with the cursor.

Im sorry, I still cant do this. When I click on the table all the dates
highlight. I am not sure where to go to be able to click on certain dates
only. I checked in "table"

Place the cursor in a cell, press the tab key.

Are you using a calendar template or a Design Gallery calendar?

I have just picked a calendar design from those available. When I click
within the table, all the month's dates highlight and I cant seem to undo
that and just pick certain dates to highlight, or change the color to make
them appear differently than the other dates. Thanks!

Jules, What specific calendar are you trying to use? I have tried duplicating
your issue with different calendar templates and different versions of
Publisher. I cannot.
Did you press the tab key when you place your cursor in a cell?
