Icon problems

I recently reinstalled my IE and now all my word docs that I have saved in my
pc are represented by an a different icon(the one which usually appears when
the system cannot recognise the doc).. Not the usual "W" icon for words doc.

Weirdly tho the documents works fine and my Word works fine too. Just the
icon matter is bugging me. I'm afraid I might accidently delete my docs
thinking it's some rubbish..

Anyway to fix it?

Right Click My Computer Icon select Explore then from Tools Menu | Folder
Options | File Types Tab find the extensions for Word in the list then click
change to reassociate with Word
