Identifing different Office CD's

I just purchased a new laptop that I want to install office on. I will be
removing it from my old laptop. My problem is I have two of the Office 2003
CD's and I did not mark which one was installed on what computer. Is there
an easy way to identify what CD was used for my previous installation. I
don't want to violate the rules and use the wrong CD or it will show I have
intalled Office on multiple computers. I sent an email to Microsoft but they
only directed me to a Pay for information site.

Yes they are both Office 2003 Professional.

As long as they are exactly the same version, the product keys will work
with either set of disks.

If you are asking how you can tell which product key you used on which
computer, download Belarc Advisor.

Thank you for your help. I loaded it on the old compter and it looks like I
got the information needed. I now know what CD to use. Your help is greatly
appreciated.

The fact they directed you to a Pay for Information site alone would be
enough for me to not give a hoot about their licensing and I'd do whatever
needed to be done to accomplish what I wanted to regardless of their stand
on the matter. They've clearly demonstrated they aren't worthy of any
consideration.

And how did Microsoft demonstrate this? How many other software companies
have you applied to for support? Have you tried Symantec's? Adobe's? They
all require you to pay unless you have a setup issue or have found a bug.

Get over your ABM attitude - it is getting tiresome and obsolete. Rather
than keep railing against a company, speak with your wallet and leave others
who still want to use it alone.

Spoken like a true greedy capitalist who cares about money over people. Even
if you are not American you sure mimic their values and hence are deserving
of the same contempt for profit over morals and ethics. The fact that most
companies offer the same "support" doesn't make it right, in fact makes it
even more contemptable.
