An image with associated code in the form page is not going to be very
useful. You also need server side code (asp, asp.NET, PHP etc.) to
validate the form - client side validation is not enough since it relies
on Javascript which spammers will have turned off.
It's not foolproof, but it has cut spamish responses by over 95%.
