Images don't print from pages saved in Word format

I have been using SnagIt to capture images from the screen and paste into
OneNote alongside text that describes the images. I have then been saving
these pages into MS Word format (File > Save As > Microsoft Word Document)
for use in a user manual. The problem I'm having is that when I print the
Word document that was saved from OneNote, none of the images print. They
look fine when the file is first opened, but as soon as the print dialog
closes, all the image frames are replaced by blank frames with an "X" in the
upper left corner. The only solution I have found so far is to open the Word
document and then copy each of the images manually from OneNote and paste it
into the Word document to replace the corresponding image there. Then they
will print without a problem. This obviously becomes very tedious when there
are hundreds of images in the OneNote pages.

I have been experiencing this with both OneNote 2003 and 2007 beta. It does
not happen if I paste the screen captured images directly into Word, so I'm
assuming it has something to do with how OneNote is saving into Word format.

Any thoughts?

Just tested it with ON 2007 and Word 2003.
It works fine.

I assume that it might have to with some settings in Word.
