Images not displayed in Word 2003

I have been noticing that emdedded images are either not displayed or only
partly displayed in Print Layout View in Word 2003. If I click on the image,
I get the placeholders but not the image. If I right click and select "Show
Picture Toolbar", it appears. If the image is displayed, it dissapears when I
try the same procedure.

I've searched the Word options and the comunity posts but have not found a
solution.

I have a similar problem. I must say I am getting tired of paying money for
software that only partly works. If I get any useful comments I will let you
know.
