IMAP delete messages and XP/2003

Gavin Scott

I use IMAP servers (Samsung Contact formerly HP OpenMail) so that I
see deleted messages until I get around to purging them. This works
just great for the way I do email.

In Outlook 2000, the default display format for delete messages was
strike-through Olive colored text, which made it easy to tell the
deleted ones from the read ones. But now in Outlook 2003, the
default is grey strike-through text which doesn't look different
enough to easily tell them apart at a glance.

There no longer seems to be an option to set the formatting (font)
for deleted messages that I can find.

Is there a way to either get the color of the deleted IMAP messages
to be different, or alternatively can I change the format for ordinary
"read" messages to a different color?

Thanks,

G.
