imbedded pbrush error in word

When a user logs on to view a network document, instead of viewing the
pictures within the w2k word, it shows an "imbedded pbrush" error. I tried
to convert it and if you choose to edit it or open it, it does it but it
opens the image up in a new paint document. Any ideas how to fix that error?
