import contact data from MS Outlook 2003 to MS Outlook 2000

I want to import contact database from MS Outlook 2003 to MS Outlook 2000.
In spite of my best efforts, I have not succeeded. Does anyone know how to
overcome this problem.

Two ways to do it!
Create a datafile but select the Outlook 97 to Outlook 2002 type and then
drag drop your contacts into

Export the Contacts to a CSV (Windows) or Excel format and then import that

Two ways to do it!

Three. The third is to create the Outlook 97-2002 PST and then export to
that as a second operation. That is, use File>New>Outlook Data File to
create the ANSI PST and then use File>Import and Export>Export to a
file>Personal Folders File. When the wizard prompts you for the name of the
file, browse to the PST you created in the first step.
