import contact list from office xp to offce 2003

How can you import office xp contact list to office 2003. I've used the
import export options and import will not pick it up.

What format did you export the contact to?

Import and Export is not the best way to do this, as you've now discovered.
Since you have no need to change the file format, just copy your old Outlook
Data File and open it in the new installation. Copy your Contacts from it
into the data file in your new installation.

There's no reason to import any data when upgrading frmo OL 2002 to OL 2003.
The upgrade process will simply reuse your data. But, in the odfd case it
doesn't, see
