Import contacts from outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003

How do I import contacts from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003? My contact
folder list in version 2002 is extensive, and I don't want to re-enter all
that data. And why is this a mystery? My Word and Excel files converted
without a hitch.

It's not a mystery at all. And under no circumstances should you import
Outlook data. It's well documented in the Help files:
