I believe that Outlook 2003 has a BUG when importing contacts from a CSV
file(windows).
I have tested several times on mulitple machines, each producing the same
result.
The issue is as stated below.
Outlook 2003 - Tools - Options - Contact Options - Default "File As" order:
"Company (Last, First) - "OK"
Above is the setting that is specified/desired. However when importing the
contacts show up as (Last, First) 100% of the time.
I have insured that the mappings are correct, and even exported to a file
from manual entries, only to arrive at the same result.
When changing this view from within the Contact Options after the import the
setting is remembered. Upon inspection of the registry key that records the
preference, the change is made, yet the result is incorrect.
It seems that the bug lies within the script that the import function is
passed thru.
If this has been or is corrected via patch, please direct me to the URL.
