Import CSV file into Project with Hard Returns

How do I import hard returns into MS Project? I have tried \r\n but that
shows up as actual text instead of a line return within the notes column.

I assume you are importing to the Notes field? If so, it should read
everything between the double quotes denoting the string.

chazparks,
Adding a little to Rod's response, you may need to restructure the CSV
file to use ASCII callouts for line feeds and carriage returns. For
example, the CSV text might look something like,
"Now is the time for all good men" & chr(13) & "to come to the aid of
their party". At least, that's how it works in VBA.

Be advised however that you will not see "hard returns" in the Notes
field when it is displayed as a column in a view. Project will only
display a maximum of 255 character or up to the first line feed,
whichever occurs first. To see the entire contents of the Notes field
you will need to go to Project/Task Information/Notes tab.
