Import File to MSGraph = Colour changes

I have a problems with colour changes when using the "import file"
button in MSGraph to import charts that have been created in XLS. I
have defined specific 'house' colours in XLS and tried to do the same
in PPT using User defined formats.

Wheneven I make an import the chart colours change. The colour set is
the same as that created when pressing the "Reset" button under Tools,
Options and then the Color tab. How can I control this colour set?

In fact Sonia put me on the correct track - The PPT colour scheme
controls the bar colours.

Why use MSGraph?
1) Separation of data & calculations - I always double click on objects
from other sources and I don't want clients doing the same to my
presentations
2) I can control the builds with MSGraph from PPT this is not the case
with XLS.

Excel charts can be animated in PPT the same way MS Graph/PPT charts can.

I'm pretty sure this was introduced in PPT 2000 and that PPT 97 couldn't
animate Excel charts.
