Hello,

Is it possible to import a PST file from outlook 2003 in
outlook XP? Or is the a work-around / 3th party tool
available.

Kind regards,

If the PST file in Outlook 2003 is a Unicode PST then it cannot be imported
by Outlook 2002. However I do have a workaround:

1. Open Outlook.
2. Go to File -> New -> Outlook Data File.
3. Select "Outlook 97-2002 Personal Folders File (.pst)" and Click OK.
4. Give the file a name and save it somewhere easy to access.
5. The PST should now show up in Outlook. Right click on it and Select
Close to remove it from Outlook.
6. Now export your Unicode PST file to the PST file that you just created.

This should allow you to move your information into the old PST format and
then open it in the older version of Outlook or import it into the old
version.
